Ofsted report card, 09/12/2025

Ofsted now reports on nurseries in six areas instead of giving one overall grade.

  • Curriculum and teachingExpected standard
  • AchievementExpected standard
  • Behaviour, attitudes and routinesExpected standard
  • Children's welfare and wellbeingExpected standard
  • Leadership and governanceExpected standard
  • Safeguarding standardsMet
What this means: Ofsted now gives report cards instead of one overall word. Each area gets its own result, so look at safeguarding first, then the others. Read the full report for the detail.
